Eight Factors to Health

Every human being wants to be happy and enjoy a measure of good health. The pursuit of health and fitness, or wellness as we describe it now, is a lifelong journey. Wellness is a state of being, not a destination, and is achieved when all of the following eight factors are incorporated into one’s lifestyle:

Water – used internally and externally in appropriate amounts

Exercise regularly at a moderate intensity

Life in proper balance

Loving and supportive relationships (family, friends, and God)

Nutrition of a good quality and proper quantity

Enjoying adequate rest and relaxation

Sunlight and fresh air

Stress management
