Please Deliver Us

Dear God: This Coronavirus outbreak is paralyzing us all, even those who aren’t sick or out of work. We are frightened by something we can’t see. It’s spring and the trees and flowers are budding, but it feels like winter in our hearts. Please deliver us from the steady stream of negative news! Each day we hear about additional infections and more death. It is truly heartbreaking!

As crazy as things are, we believe you are still in control. Please deliver us from the COVID-19 scourge. And help us to recognize that you are working through myriads of kind doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals.
