Should I accept Christ as my authority?

Throughout this web site you’ll find us quoting Jesus. We have decided to follow Jesus. He is our authority. We are aware of the questions that scholars have raised about the life and teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. We are even more aware of the wonderful transformation we ourselves have experienced and that we have observed in the lives of our friends who have followed Jesus. We’ve seen homeless drug addicts become husbands and fathers and college students. We’ve seen people who were victims of terrible abuse become contented, at peace persons. We’ve seen people moved to renounce privilege and wealth and embrace lives of service.

We know that following Jesus makes a difference. And it’s a difference we treasure.

Should you accept Jesus as your authority and guide? The best we can say is that we have, and we are very happy. We believe you will be, too.
